How to Apply for a Grant Call

Your Step-by-Step Guide to Submitting a Successful Grant Application

Account Registration

Create your account on the Grants Management System to access all available funding opportunities.

  • Enter https://grantsportal.nrf.go.ke on your browser
  • Click the Register/Login tab on the homepage menu
  • On the pop up, locate the Register section
  • Fill in all required fields in the registration form and submit

Login

Access your account using your registered credentials.

  • Navigate to the GMS homepage
  • Locate the Login section
  • Enter your registered Email Address and Password
  • Click Sign In

Dashboard

  • After login in, your dashboard displays a sidebar menu, statistics cards section and list of recent calls

Viewing Recent Calls

Browse and select the grant call you wish to apply for.

  • Scroll to the Recent Calls section
  • Browse the list of open grant calls and find the grant you wish to apply for
  • Click to View Details
  • Click Apply button

Filling an Application

Complete all required sections of your grant application.

  • You will be directed to the application form
  • The application is divided into multiple sections. Which is required to be filled by the applicant
  • You can save your progress and return later

Submitting an Application

Review and submit your completed application before the deadline.

  • Review all sections - Ensure all required fields are complete
  • Check the progress bar - Must show 100%
  • Check attachments - Verify all required documents are uploaded
